BioI'm British, but I am currently living in the United States. It's culturally rather scary, but also very interesting. Planning postgraduate study. I am in my early 30s. Books, learning, animals and nature are my passion. My degree is from St Andrews university in the UK. I studied theology there for 4 years, and it took me less than two of fluttering around like a butterfly Christian (i.e. from one denomination to another) to realise that my discomfort didn't originate with a particular denomination; religion itself was the problem. One of the greatest irritants in my life comes from people finding out I have a degree in theology and thereby assuming that I am a religious lunatic, and opposed to science... wrong!
Currently working in Maine, but planning to move to another state or back to the UK for post-graduate study.
